Okay, darling, let's talk about this coffee. It's not your basic, sunshine-and-rainbows brew, alright? We're diving deep into something a little darker, a little more...interesting.
Imagine this: Medium acidity, like a playful bite on your tongue, followed by a body so syrupy it's practically decadent. Taste the dark chocolate, bitter and intense, mingling with the whisper of dried fruit – think secrets and forbidden desires. And then, that earthy note...oh, honey, it's like burying your hands in the midnight soil. The finish? A long, lingering embrace that won't let you go.
This little treasure comes from Aceh, Takengon, cradled by the Koperasi Baitul Qiradh Baburrayyan (KBQB) – sounds like a secret society, doesn't it? Grown at altitudes between 1100 and 1600 meters, where the air is thin and the shadows are long.
They process it using a method called Giling Basha, or Wet-Hulling. Trust me, it's as intriguing as it sounds. The beans are a bewitching blend of Tim Tim, Typica, Ateng, Onan Ganjang, and Jember varietals.
So, if you're craving something that speaks to your soul, something that understands the beauty in the darkness, you know what to do.
